My life has taken me away, filled my days to overflowing, kept me away from my muse....why give time to yourself when something so great and wonderful and amazing is there right in front of you - how can I take my eyes away...I can't!

A new website is coming and a new album...or at least a few tunes to caress one's ears...in the meantime

Things certainly haven't been quiet, but noisy and loud and new and amazing and a very steep learning curve and possibly the best most satisfying time of my life - in fact I know it has been. I'm now the proud rock'n'roll mother of the most divine, georgous and beautiful baby girl. She's six & a half months old, starting to crawl, loves the guitar, loves all music, has a couple of teeth - oh I could go on for hours, but I won't. I've started writing some new stuff too which feels really good and all going according to plan we should have some new songs up on the new site in a month or two. IN the meantime, check out myspace.com/angelineneville along with 64 million others....cheers XX

Well, things may well be a bit quiet for the next couple of months as I'm just about to have my first baby...no, not a new song or album or gig a real live baby! Somehow things seem to pale in comparison to the journey that I'm about to embark on with my beautiful man...it's nice to be thinking aobut something other than myself or how to write that next killer tune...I'm looking forward to taking a bit of time out to get a bit of life back into me - or out of me rather...

back soon...XX

All quiet on the western front...battling sickness and the pain of seeing beautiful winter weather from the confines of my comfortable bed whilst I recover...why, why, why?? you question whoever may listen as you pop another butter menthol in your ripped up throat....oh for the ability to be able to pop a few pusedoefidrine infested cold tablets that my dearly beloved brought as a gift from our delightfully suburban supermarket as he wrestled with the lateness of a busy morning, but alas alak - due to our delightfully active babe in utero - I can't....the sun looks so warm I think to myself as I sneeze again and wrap myself deeper within my doona and delight in the modern delicacy of the tv in the bedroom and a couple of delightfully boring dvds....nobody realises how much I'm suffering I scream internally and delight in my own sympathy...it's great to feel sorry for yourself sometimes...

For all the latest news on how the gig went and to have a small preview of what the new site may - or may not - look like, check out the showcase page...photos, madness, general mayhem...gotta go, new site to design...

June 10, 2005

Things are hotting up, the table's set, the band's rehearsed, the invitations have been sent...looking forward to the gig on Tuesday night. Come early if you'd like a little bit of food and perhaps even a glass of champagne...Fbi radio have been playing some of the new tunes and there's a radio interview next week for another wonderful community station, 2 RDJ...stay tuned..

It is with very heavy heart that I update the site. I have been back in New Zealand for a while, not under the best of circumstances, so music has been the furtherest thing from my mind. I lost my dad. I can't even begin to explain how sad I am, not only for me, but especially for my mum and for the rest of my family. He was a great man and I'll miss him terribly. Life has changed.

...Preparations for the showcase are going really well...considering...it's on the 14th of June, for more details you can check out the live page... anyone who joins the mailing list before then will receive 2 free drinks on the night - if you can make it - and a copy of the new single....just send a blank email with 'mailing list' in the subject header to info@angelinemusic.com

Went and recorded some new songs with a very old and dear friend - and brilliant musician - the wonderful Johnny Carr at his Sth St Studios...very cool day and great to catch up with someone I hadn't seen for a while. We put down 3 tracks, very simple, just me & the maton and I'm stoked!! The sound is so beautifully clear...There are some samples up on the music page ...if you'd like Johnny to do some recording for you, check out his site www.johnnycarr.com.au...preparations for the showcase are going really well too although for a few reasons we've put it back until June, but the artwork and invites and stuff are all nearly hitting the vans of Australia post...and now that I've got this lovely new demo, hopefully lots of lovely industry people will want to come and hear lots more songs too...keep on clucking

Yesterday the weather in Sydney was a fabulous 30 odd degrees, we went swimming and lazed in the sun like lizards...today has been windy and cold and rainy and not at all the kind of weather that I felt like going to work in..

It would hvae been much nicer to stay indoors and strum the beautiful classical guitar that we were given over the weekend...or the outrageously great ukelele that my beloved picked up for $1 at St Vinnies...will have to try and work that one into the show. I'm so looking forward to playing again, it's been a while...keep warm.

Ange has been busy searching for some players to help her out with an 'industry showcase' planned for May. We thought it would be a great idea to invite lots of lovely industry people to the same place on the same night, ply them with alcohol & some delicious finger food and seduce them with a set of Ange's new material....we have a beautifully intimate venue in mind as well as some visual stimulation to totally blow your senses...

a huge hello to all our international visitors to the site....let us know what you'd like to see here at AngelineMusic...we are always open to creative inspiration....info@angelinemusic

check out what's been on Ange's mind...visit thoughts

What a long time it's been between drinks...computer madness is all I can say...Happy New Year to everyone, although that does seem a little belated now that it's already February! I had a wonderful trip back to New Zealand where I reaquainted myself with family, friends, the land and the accent...there's an awesome music scene over there, well worth everyone checking out.

Over the next few weeks there's going to be a few changes to the site, so hang in there if there's any problems...new music, new photos, lots of interesting stuff...I best get to it...have a beautiful day .....xAngeline
